Hawkstrider Mounts
I’m a Blood Elf so my very first WOW mount was a hawkstrider. I now have over 100 mounts, but since the black hawkstrider was my very first one I always try to keep it in the rotation for riding. I guess I’m just a sentimental fool 
The hawkstrider mount is the Blood Elf faction mount. If you are not a Blood Elf you must be exalted with Silvermoon City to purchase the mounts.
There are a total of 7 hawkstrider faction mounts:
1. Swift Green Hawkstrider
2. Swift Pink Hawkstrider
3. Swift Purple Hawkstrider
4. Black Hawkstrider
5. Blue Hawkstrider
6. Purple Hawkstrider
7. Red Hawkstrider
The swift ones cost 10 gold and require level 40. The regular hawkstriders cost 1 gold and require level 20.
You buy the mounts from Winaestra. She can be found in Eversong Woods outside of Silvermoon city (approximate location 61.0, 54.6).
