Turning Myself Into a PVP Goddess Again

So besides the 100 or so pet battles I did over the weekend I also managed to knock out probably 20 BG’s.
I have hardly done any PVP since MOP came out. Running around doing dailies and having half the time to play WOW I once did has really put me behind with me PVP progress.

I was having some issues with what spec my lock should be running around with now. I have been affliction for so long it was just second nature. I could close my eyes and know what keys cast what spells without a second thought. Well turns out affliction wasn’t going to well for me in PVP so I switched to destruction. Well I wasn’t quite feeling that either. Chaos bolt is absolutely fantastic, but getting to actually cast it as much as I needed and wanted to in BG’s was becoming problematic. So off to Demo I went. I am now running it for PVE and PVP and enjoy it, but I really miss my affliction days.

My hubby also took a 2 month break from WOW for real life issues and I no longer had anyone to arena with, therefore maxing out conquest points every week for gear was kinda out of the question. Now the hubby is back, I’m banning dailies for a while and PVP is back on the menu for WOW time. I really wanted to get back to the PVP goddess I was back in Cata. I’m not loving my lock “as much” as I once was, but she still kicks some butt.

Before this weekend I only had 3 pieces of the Malevolent Gladiator’s set. I was able to finally get enough conquest points though after running BG’s all weekend to pick up the Malevolent Gladiator’s Battle Staff. This new weapon is going to seriously up my game for PVP. I was still running around with a PVE staff (so lame I know)! I really like the way the staff looks too. That eye in the middle of it is cool.

So here’s to hoping that if I ignore dailies for a month (it’s not like those factions are going anywhere) and pet battling doesn’t become too addicting (probably already is though) I will start racking up my PVP gear and start leaving my mark in BG’s again.
