The Wanderer’s Festival

So I finally was able to make it over to Turtle Beach in Krasarang Wilds to attend the opening ceremonies of the Wanderer’s Festival. Every Sunday at 9 pm server time the festival starts on the beach right by the Statue of Liu Lang. It lasts from 9-11 pm.

Celebrants set off fireworks and build campfires. Chen Stormstout even sets up a keg to drink from to really get the party started! Wanderer’s Festival Lanterns appear in the water and celebrants place more. The lanterns look beautiful floating in the water. During the festival Lorewalker Cho also serenades you with “The Song of Liu Lang”.

During the festival is also the only time to get the pet Wanderer’s Festival Hatchling. It only spawns on the beach during the festival. The hubby went with me for the achievement and as soon as he saw the turtles pop up he told me and I ran to the nearest one to battle.

As I was battling he asked if I was going to battle another to try to get a rare and I said no. There were like 8 people there and not that many turtles so I wanted other people to get a chance. While I was finishing up my battle he watched as another player went around to all the turtles and didn’t actually fight any. They were probably looking for a rare, but I felt bad for the other people who were there looking for a turtle pet and this one player wiped out 5 of them Well I got my turtle and we sat on the beach together and took a pic and I think it’s spectacular!

If you attend the opening or closing ceremonies of the Wanderer’s Festival you will also receive the achievement Wanderers, Dreamers, and You. So I got my turtle and achieve and had a fun time. It’s something everyone should check out at least once just to experience it. Below are some screenshots I took while I was there!
