When making my post on the mounts/vessels that get you from here to there I knew there was one that I wanted to have a post all of it’s own. Why you may ask? Because the Turtle Boat is the coolest ride around!

I first discovered the turtle boats a very long time ago while grinding rep for the Kalu’ak.

There are 3 different turtle boats and they all have names.

Walker of Waves travels between Moa’ki Harbor and Unu’pe. The trip takes approximately 2 minutes 36 seconds.

Green Island travels between Moa’ki Harbor to Kamagua. The trip takes approximately 3 minutes 15 seconds.

The Half Shell sits in Moa’ki Harbor in Dragonblight.

These giant turtles have decks built on the top of their shells to transport toons and each is crewed by two tuskarr.

Now to get these turtles moving they dangle carrots in front of them.
I feel so bad for the turtles. Always chasing those carrots and never getting them

I just think the turtles boats are a cool and fun way to travel.
If you haven’t taken a ride on the turtle boats yet take a trip down to Moa’ki Harbor and get a lift.

So the hubby and I were questing in the northern barrens when we picked up the quest A Growing Problem. For the quest you have to take this eagle to Thunderhead Summit. So we take our eagle and start for the Summit. We finally reach the top and the first thing I say is, “Hun, there’s a pet cemetery in WOW!!”

Above is a pic from the movie Pet Sematary based on the book by horror legend Stephen King. Tell me the top of Thunderhead Summit doesn’t look eerily similar to the creepy cemetery in the movie!

I’m a huge Stephen King fan and an even bigger horror movie fan. I just couldn’t believe how similar this place looked to the place in the movie. I Love it!!!!

While running around doing archaeology I found this cool little place called The Steppe of Life.
It is a very pretty small grassy area located south of the Forest of Shadows in southwestern Wintergrasp.
Living and mature lashers take residence there.

I just though the pic was pretty and The Steppe of Life is a pretty little place!
