So tonight I started the Beasts of Fable quest. I only got halfway through them because I didn’t have any more time to play, but plan on finishing them up Friday night. I headed on over and picked up the quest from Gentle San at the Shrine of Two Moons to get started. (If you are Alliance you pick up the quest from Sara Finkleswitch at the Shrine of Seven Stars).

So I went around and started defeating the Elite Battle Pets of the Pandaren fables. They are really easy to spot, just look for the giant golden paws. These pets automatically respawn after the fight. I wish you could capture some of these guys. I would love a few of them for my collection.

Below are who I have fought so far.

First up we have Dos’Ryga.
He can be found by the shore in Kun-Lai Summit. (Approximate location 67,84)
He is a level 25 Aquatic pet.

I was having some issues with this guy. His healing ability was killing me. I only had one pet to use against aquatics so I ended up looking over my pets and found an Amber Moth who was level 22. I quickly leveled him to 25 and Dos’Ryga finally met his end.

Next up we have Ti’un the Wanderer.
He can be found in Townlong Steppes. (Approximate location 72,79)
He is a level 25 Aquatic pet.

I am a fan of all things turtle. I just have always loved the animals and this guy I think is gorgeous. Just look at those striking colors! With my Amber Moth and Chicken on hand he went done fairly easy.

Next up we have Kafi.
He can be found on a cliff in Kun-Lai Summit. (Approximate location 35,56)
He is a level 25 Beast pet.

I like the goat models in MOP so I think this guy looks pretty good. I love pygmy goats. One day I want to move out to the country and have a couple running around. They can eat the grass so I never have to mow

Here we have No-No.
He can be found sitting under a pretty umbrella in Vale of Eternal Blossoms. (Approximate location 10,70)
He is a level 25 Aquatic pet.

Now this guy is my fav of the Elite Battle Pets. He is just so freakin’ adorable! I felt so bad taking him out, but a girls got to do what she must in order to obtain her precious Red Panda. He seriously is cute though I just want to pet him

Now we have Lucky Yi.
He can be found hanging out in the Valley of the Four Winds. (Approximate location 40,43)
He is a level 25 Critter pet.

I was so proud of my Darkmoon Turtle for finishing this guy off all by himself. My Darkmoon turtle did everything right. This was the only pet I battled so far that I defeated with just one pet.

I think the Tiny Twister is just one very cool looking pet! He can be found in Arathi Highlands.

The Tiny Harvester is the coolest looking scarecrow I have ever seen. You can find these guys in Westfall.

The Tiny Bog Beast looks like the cousin of Swamp Thing. You can find this guy in the Wetlands.

It’s a flying book! The Lofty Libram can be found in Hillsbrad Foothills.

I just love the Jade Oozeling. They can be found in a cave in The Hinterlands. That face is just too cute for all that gooey slime

I think the Clefthoof Runt is just a big ol’ cutiepie He can be found in Nagrand.

The Fjord Worg Pup can be found in Howling Fjord. Ignore his menacing growl he is really a sweetie!

From the front when he is sitting there all innocent looking the Infested Bear Cub looks cute enough. Take a gander at him from the side and whatever was cute about him suddenly makes your stomach turn a little bit. He can be found over in Hillsbrad Foothills.

The Infected Squirrel can be found in the Eastern Plaguelands. I really think he and the Infested Bear Cub really need to visit the vet and have those sores checked out!

So I have spent all month obsessed with pet battles. I’ve been flying all over the world adding to the pet collection and stalking those rares. I got pets left to catch and level, but have managed to rack up most of the pet battle achieves. I got to level a lot of pets to 25 still and need to catch some to finish up those safari achieves.

Below are the achieves I still got to work on:

1. Eastern Kingdoms Safari (I haven’t spent much time over there yet )
2. Kalimdor Safari (Minfernal, Spawn of Onyxia and Silithid Hatchling taunt me so)
3. Northrend Safari (Scourged Whelpling – I have heard these exist, but I have my doubts!)
4. Legendary Pet Battler (5,000 seems like sooo many)
5. Pet Brawler and No Time To Heal (I’ve done no PVP pet battling yet)
6. Pro Pet Crew (I only got 15 so far and I know I have to eventually get 75 up to 25. So many more to go!)

I think I am going to be taking a break from pet battles for a couple weeks in order to get back to do some dailies. I banned dailies like 2 months ago because I just needed a break and have so many factions left to get exalted with. I still plan on stalking my rare pets though. I would really like to get them into my collection. I’m starting to have nightmares about the minifernal and scourged whelpling. Oh how they taunt me!

Below are a couple pics from some battles I just thought were fun.

I started this one pet fight and we ended up fighting on this spiked board the whole time. Well kinda floating above it since we don’t really seem to touch it. Just thought it was a cool little glitch.

I just thought this was a fun pic. All the little tornadoes rolling around the pet battle field between my idol and the twister.

I just think Marley is gorgeous!
