Tomb of the Forgotten TCG Loot – Woot!

Tomb of the Forgotten, the newest expansion to the World of Warcraft trading card game, is being released today. I don’t play the card game, but I love when a new expansion is released because the game includes loot cards. Loot cards can be used to add mounts, pets, and other fun items to your online game. Tomb of the Forgotten has three new loot cards.
Sand Scarab will be the first loot card I will get. It is a little scarab companion pet and I love pets.
There is also a new mount, the White Riding Camel. I still don’t have the Grey Riding Camel so now there are two camels I need.
The last item is the Spurious Sarcophagus which puts you in a sarcophagus for five minutes. It doesn’t sound super exciting but I love novelty items and trinkets so I will pick this up at some point.

This is a fun little item I always have in my bags.
Place the item on the ground and it creates a mining node. Everyone can then “mine” the node to get a Greedy Kobold non-combat pet that lasts for 10 minutes. The node will last five minutes and has a 30 minute cooldown.
I love this item!
I always take this out while waiting in between RBG’s. It is so funny watching 10 people running around being trailed by 10 freaky looking Greedy Kobold’s.

My hubby has wanted this mount since the first time he heard about it over a year ago. At least once every two weeks I had to hear him mention the rooster mount.
We don’t buy trading card packs and you don’t have to either to get this mount.
People can sell and trade this mount on the AH.
The server we are on is a low population server and none of the cool trading card stuff ever comes up on the AH. So we saved up a lot of gold and actually transferred a guild to a high pop server to buy ourselves the mounts. We had all the trading card mounts we wanted within a few days. You have to wait 30 days to transfer a guild back though so it was a long wait till we finally got our mounts!
It was so worth it though. We are absolutely loving our chickens and the other cool mounts we bought. I will be making more posts today with some more trading card mounts we got!
If you are interested in the rooster or other trading card mounts though start stockpiling your gold now! They are pretty expensive. They average between 100,000 – 200,000 gold depending on which mount you are looking for.
